Greenpop is a social enterprise involved in urban greening and reforestation projects throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. They plant trees in schools, communities, and deforested areas with the aim of spreading environmental awareness, uplifting under-greened communities, and combating climate change. Greenpop hosted a reforestation and conservation education project in Livingstone, Zambia that has since become a yearly event.


Kandi was commissioned to brand the fully-booked launch of the 2012 Trees for Zambia event. The Greenpop event branding and design of various items was developed to inspire volunteers involvement and creating awareness around the event. The Greenpop event branding was used across printed material consisted of posters, a square half-fold brochure, ‘tree-ring’ tags, a donation card and banners for the Green Expo in Cape Town as well as for COP17 in Durban. Graphic elements such as Facebook profiles, Facebook dig (like) buttons, Twitter backgrounds, banners and email newsletters were also created to drive awareness of the event.
